Very beautiful and delicious

I've waited a long time to get this set as it was very expensive when it first came out. It was well worth the wait actually would've been well worth the cash had I spent it earlier. Amazon has a really low price on this.



The clear glass teapot holds about 16oz when full. Each tea flower will make 3 pots. The 3rd pot of tea is as good as the first the 4th is weak.



The tea itself is excellent. Some of the best I've tasted and I'm very particular about the tea I drink. I've been enjoying the variety that came with the pot - haven't found one I've disliked yet and it is fun trying them all.



Since you will get about 6 cups of tea with each tea flower - they are all beautiful I put the teapot on the table while the tea steeps so every can enjoy it. You will want to drink this with family or friends.



The whole set comes packaged nicely in a bamboo box that looks handmade. The box is pretty enough to be re-used for something else. The variety of tea is in a smaller bamboo box.

This 16 oz. Teapot will only hold 16 oz. of water if there is nothing else in the pot including the tea. If you use the included infuser it might hold 8 oz. Nothing special

I've tried every flavor now and they have consistently been worse than your typical store bought Bigelow.



This tastes like C-grade tea put in a nice package.



It isn't a good gift for a tea drinker. They will spot the poor tea the second they brew it.



Aside from the bland taste except for the Earl Grey which taste like soap they also don't have the aroma that you get when you brew a good grade tea. The package sold here comes with 2 but I'm going to try to give the other one away and buy more Bigelow.More detail ...

Fancy tea!

The teas are very tasty. The tins appear to be air-tight so the teas stay fresh for a long time. The gift box is cardboard but sturdy. And really everything you need but a mug and some hot water are included in this gift set.



Two minor complaints:

The tea pot strainer is a bit tedious to clean. I can't figure a way to clean it without rinsing tea bits down the garbage disposal. So I don't use it at work where there isn't a garbage disposal.

I think the recommended amount of tea per cup is a bit high. I've cut back to about half their amounts and still get a very flavorful cup of tea.More detail ...

Great glass! Great Tea!

I was skeptical because I've seen mixed reviews on similar products like this. But I'm glad I jumped in and decided to purchase it. First of all the shipping was fast and it comes gift-wrapped free which is cool. Second the glass works great which is most important. Its double-walled so when I poured my boiling hot water in the glass I had no problem carrying it from the kitchen to my bedroom and barely feeling any warmth. The filter/strainer does exactly what its supposed to do which is keep the loose tea out of your mouth while you drink your tea. This is the first time I've used something like this and it works perfectly for me.



The blooming tea comes in three small containers. I'm new to tea so I can't tell what kind it is...most likely some type of jasmine green tea because it smells good. The first steeping is very mild but the second one the flavor really comes out. Anyway I hope this helps people that are on the fence like I was about buying glasses like this.
